2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk and 1 tsp soda
1 c. strawberry jam
1 TBS allspice
2 c. nuts
1 c. raisins
1-1/2 c. fresh grated coconut
3 c. flour


3 c. sugar
1-1/2 c. butter
1-1/2 c. milk

Run nuts and raisins thru food chopper. Cream butter and sugar - add eggs, then milk with the soda, then jam, spice, raisins, coconut, and nuts, last flour. Mix well and bake in layer cake pans in 350 oven.

Icing: Cook to soft ball stage - beat thoroughly
