2 (#2 1/2) Cans Italian Tomatoes 2 lb. Ground Chuck or Hamburger
4 (8 oz) Cans Tomato Sauce 1 lb. Lasagna Noodles
2 tsp. Salt 1 1/2 lb. Ricotta Cheese
3 tsp. Oregano (or Cream style Cottage Cheese)
2 Cloves Garlic (minced) 1 C. grated Parmesan
1 Onion chopped 1 lb. grated Mozzarella

Directions:
Directions:
Combine in saucepan tomatoes and next 3 ingredients. Saute onions and garlic in oil--add chuck and brown. Add tomatoes and simmer uncovered for 2 1/2 hours or until thick. Cook noodles as directed on the package.
In bottom of 2-12"x 9" dishes place spoonfuls of sauce. Top with layer of noodles then 1/2 ricotta and 1/3 mozzarella and 1/2 of Parmesan. Top with mozzarella.
Bake at 350 until bubbly (about 45 minutes) Remove and let stand 15 minutes before serving.

This was a recipe used often by my cousin who made extra each time to put in the freezer. Nancy was Clelta Hummer's sister, Naomi's daughter. She died of cancer at the age of 60.
