"When I'm at a Chinese restaurant having a hard time with chopsticks, I always hope that there's a Chinese kid at an American restaurant somewhere who's struggling mightily with a fork."--Rick Budinich
1 tri tip steak Seasoned pepper Garlic salt Barbecue sauce
Place tri-tip in an oven safe dish. Put 1/2" water in bottom of dish. Sprinkle with seasoned pepper and garlic salt. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, depending on size of tri-tip. Remove steak and place on a piece of foil; cover with barbecue sauce and seal foil. Return to oven and bake 30 minutes more. During the last 10 minutes, open foil, allowing barbecue sauce to thicken.
