1 lb. lean ground beef
1 Tblsp. canola oil or light olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1 can Cream of Mushroom or Chicken soup
1/2 soup can of water
3/4 cup sour cream
1 can Green Peas

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in skillet, add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until onion is shiny looking. Add ground meat, salt and pepper and cook until crumbly and lightly browned. Add soup and water and bring to low boiling. Turn burner to low and add sour cream and then stir in green peas. Serve over rice, or potatoes or angel hair pasta. (Note: milk and sour cream will curdle if allowed to boil.)
