Cake:
1 c. butter or margarine, plus 2 T. more
2 pkgs. (3 ozs. each) cream cheese, softened
2 1/4 c. sugar
6 eggs
3/4 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. cake flour
Frosting:
1 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Cake: Preheat oven to 325F. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Add flour and mix well. Pour into a 10X15X1-inch baking pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Frosting: Combine sugar and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Cover and cook for 3 minutes (don't stir). Stir in butter and chocolate chips until melted. Cool slightly and spread over cake.
