1 chicken, about 1 1/2 lbs
6 T. butter, melted
2 T. lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
salt & pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450F. Cut the chicken in half. Put chicken, skin side up, on a roasting pan or baking sheet and season with salt and pepper. Combine butter, lemon juice, and spices in a small bowl. Brush the chicken with half the butter mixture. Roast the chicken until juices run clear, about 20 minutes. Baste halfway through with remaining butter. Broil 6 inches from the heat for 3 minutes to get a crust on chicken.
