1 c. corn meal
1 egg
1 can cream corn
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. vegetable oil
1 lb. hamburger meat
1 lg. onion
1 lg. bell pepper (optional)
3/4-1lb shredded cheddar cheese
Hot peppers (optional)

Directions:

Batter Mix:
1 c. corn meal
1 egg
1 can cream corn
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. vegetable oil

Filling:
Brown hamburger meat, onion and green pepper, then drain. Add in shredded cheese and hot peppers (optional).

Cover bottom of pan with batter. Then put filling mixture on top. Then rest of batter on top of filling.

Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
