1 stick butter 1 c. sugar 4 egg yolks 1 box red jello 1 c. water 18 oz. vanilla wafer 4 egg whites (well beaten) 1 sm. can crushed pineapple 1/2 c. nuts Cool Whip
Crush vanilla wafers, take 1/3 of crushed cookies put in the bottom of pan. Mix together butter, sugar, egg yolks, jello, hot water, rest of cookies, beaten egg whites, pineapple, and nuts. Top with Cool Whip and chill for about 2 hours before serving.
