Chuck or Cross Rib Roast
2 med onions chopped
1 c celery chopped
5-6 carrots sliced
5-6 potatoes cubed
2 tbsp tapioca
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
2-3 lb. Chuck or cross rib roast cut into 11/2 pieces, Layer in order given above. Sprinkle over the meat and veggies, tapioca, sugar, salt, pepper. 1 can of tomato soup - mixed with 11/2 cans of water. Better to whisk the soup and water to remove lumps. Bake in dutch oven for 6 hours at 250 degrees. Do not lift lid until ready to serve.
