1 (16 oz) pkg of spaghetti
2 - 3 Tbsp toasted sesame oil (don't substitute)
up to 2 Tbsp canola oil, if needed
1 onion, peeled and thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups shredded carrots
1/2 bunch broccoli, chopped into bite-sized pieces (can use snow peas)
1 can bean sprouts, drained
couple of shakes of crushed red pepper
black pepper to taste
5 - 6 green onions, thinly sliced
2 - 3 Tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 to 2 lb cooked shrimp, medium size with tails removed

Cook pasta until al dente and drain. Set aside. In very large skillet, stir-fry sliced onion, carrots, and broccoli in toasted sesame oil -- approximately 3 - 5 minutes. Add bean sprouts. Add canola oil, if needed. Add red and black pepper. Mix well. Add shrimp and soy sauce. When thoroughly heated, add pasta and combine well. Add more soy sauce if needed. Garnish with green onions.
