6 Medium Potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4 inch strips.
2 c. (8 ozs.) shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (10-3/4 ozs.) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 small onion, chopped
7 T. butter, melted, divided
1 tsp. pepper
1 c.(8 ozs.) sour cream
2 c. stale sourdough bread chunks

Directions:
Directions:
Toss the potatoes and cheese; place in a 5-qt. slow cooker. Combine the soup, onion, 4 T. butter, salt and pepper; pour over potato mixture. Cover and cook on low heat for 8-10 hours or until the potatoes are tender. Stir in sour cream. Toss the bread chunks and remaining butter; sprinkle over potatoes
