1 can (16 ozs.) pears, drained, reserving liquid
1 - 3 oz. pkg. of lime jello
1 - 3oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 tsp. lemon juice
1 envelope of whipped topping mix
lettuce leaves
assorted fruit for garnish

Directions:

In a saucepan, boil reserved pear juice. Stir in lime jello until dissolved. Remove from heat. Cool to room temperature. Puree pears in blender. In mixing bowl beat cream cheese and lemon juice until fluffy. Add pureed pears and mix well. Prepare whipped topping according to directions and fold into pear mixture. Fold in cooled gelatin next. Pour into oiled gelatin mold. Chill 2-3 hour or over night. Unmold onto lettuce platter and garnish with mandarin oranges, strawberries, kiwi fruit, etc.
