2-3 stalks of celery chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
5-6 T. flour
6-7 potatoes, cubed into bite sized pieces
1/2 qt. water
1/2 gallon milk
1/3 lb. bacon, cut into bite sized pieces
celery salt or onion salt to taste

*Riffles*
1 egg
flour
1/8 tsp. baking powder
Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon with celery and onion in large pot until just under done. Add potatoes and cook a few more minutes. Add flour and stir until thick. Add water and then milk. Cook over low heat until mixture simmers. The potatoes will now be cooked. Add celery or onion salt to taste. Cook for 2 hours.

*Riffles* Beat egg, add flour and baking powder dropping consistently from spoon. Add salt, drop into bubbly soup. Let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
