2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter or margarine
6 T. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans, finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Sift flour once. Sift again with salt. In a mixing bowl, cream butter or margarine. Add sugar and vanilla and mix well. Add flour gradually to sugar mixture. Mix in nuts. Form cookies as desired, or into crescents. Bake on a cookie sheet for 10-15 minutes. Cool and roll in powdered sugar.
