2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 sticks oleo
1 tsp. soda
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
4 T. cocoa
1 c. water

FROSTING
1 stick oleo
4 T. cocoa
6 T. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Sift sugar & flour together in a large bowl.
In a sauce pan mix: oleo, cocoa & water. Bring to a boil & pour over dry ingredients. Mix well. Add buttermilk, soda, milk, eggs & vanilla. Mix well. Bake in an 11 x 16 greased & floured pan,
350 about 20 min.

FROSTING
(Mix 5 min. before cake is done)
melt oleo, cocoa & milk. Add powdered sugar, vanilla & nuts. Mix well. Pour over cake as soon as you take it out of the oven.
