2 cups flour
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
2Tbs soft margarine
1/2 tsp salt
1 c. coarse chopped nuts (optional)
1 cup sugar
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease a 13" X 9" X 2" baking pan.
Stir together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Mix well. Drain the pineapple reserving 1/3 cup of juice.. Make a well in the flour mixture; add the pineapple, 1/3 cup juice, eggs and butter. Beat with spoon until well mixed. Pour batter into pan, sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350ºF for 40-45 minutes or until done.

If preferred leave off the nuts and ice the cooled cake. Very moist cake!!
