3/4 cup butter
1 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 3/4 cup flour
2 1/4 cup brown sugar
6 tbsp. melted butter
3 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 tbsp. vinegar
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup raisins

Directions:

Cut butter into second two ingredients and press into 9X13 pan. Bake in 350 oven for 5-10 minutes. Combine the remaining ingredients in the order given and pour over base and return to oven at 350 for 30-40 minutes or until set. Slice into squares and serve.

Yummy, tastes like butter tarts but half the work. If there is no time for tarts, then this is the best substitute. Very easy and delicious.
