Personal Notes:
My grandmother (Nora) always seemed to have cookies of some sort on hand in a metal tin in the kitchen cupboard below the counter next to her stove. I can remember once while making peanut butter cookies she accidentally burned them. She was going to throw them out, but I told her "Please don’t. I love them." I swear from that day forward she purposely made burnt peanut butter cookies because she truly thought I liked them better than the others. I assure you this is NOT the case. I just hated to see a cookie being thrown away….
