2 C. Brown Sugar 4 Eggs Beaten
2 C. White Sugar 3 C. Flour
1 1/2 C. Lard (or Crisco) 6 C. Oatmeal
1/2 C. Margarine 2 tsp. Soda
2 tsp. Vanilla 2 tsp Baking Powder

Directions:

Mix together sugars, lard, margarine, vanilla and eggs. Mix well, add flour, oatmeal, soda, and baking powder. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 for about 10 min. This is a large recipe and can be kept in the refrigerator for 1 week and baked as needed.

This is another of the recipes that I use all the time. The only other cookies I bake besides these three are Nestle's Chocolate Bit and M & M cookies for the kids. Our family loves cookies and cookie dough, especially when the cookies are warm from the oven. That was always Mom's thing. She always had cookies for me and later for grandchildren and great-grandchildren
