2 cups whole milk
3 tablespoons corn starch
1/3 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 egg yolks
1 cup coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Cook together on medium heat, stirring continually until thickened. Add 2 teaspoons vanilla, 2 tablespoons butter. Cool, pour into crust.
Meringue: 3 egg whites, 1/4 cream of tartar, pinch of salt, 5-6 tablespoons sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Beat until sugar is dissolved and stiff. Bake 350 until browned
