1 head iceberg lettuce
8 slices bacon
4 slices white bread
4 ripe tomatoes, cored and diced
kosher salt
black pepper
1/3 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise

Directions:
Directions:
Clean lettuce and dry well, Tear into 1" pieces. Roll in paper towel and put in reefrigerator until ready to use.

Cook bacon in skillet until crisp. Toast bread in the oven.

Put the torn lelttuce in a large bowl along with the diced tomato. Crumble the bacon and add to bowl. Cut the toast into 1" squares and add. Toss and season the salad with kosher salt and black peper. Add enough mayonnaise to dress the salad gererously, and serve immediately.

This is only good when you have really good ripe tomatoes. Don't try this with old winter or store tomatoes.
