4 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups scalded milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, add sugar, salt & vanilla. Add hot milk, beating all the time. Put nutmeg on top and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 425 for 6 or 7 minutes, reduce heat to 350. Bake until knife comes out clean when tested in center of pie.
