1 lb 14 oz. cream cheese
7/8 c. sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 extra large egg
1/2 c heavy cream
3/4 tsp. vanilla
Make ahead:
some type of cookie cracker crust (any receipe is fine) and place in bottom of spring pan

In a large bowl, mix together sugar and cornstarch
Here's where a really good mix master comes in handy:
Beat the cream cheese into the sugar mixture
Add the egg
Gradually add the heavy cream
Add the vanilla
Mix well -- this will take quite some time
The consistency should be light and fluffy
Pour into a well greased spring pan with cookie crumb bottom
Bake at 450 degrees for 40-45 minutes
Cool on a rack for 3 hours
Then refrigerate
Tastes best after refrigeration
