6-8 C flour
1 pkg yeast (+ 1/4 C warm water)
2 1/3 C milk
1/2 C butter
1 T salt
1 T sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine yeast and water and let sit until bubbly.
Add it to flour and mix all ingredients.
Knead on floured surface until soft - adding more flour until it's not sticky. (10 min?)
Let rise about an hour (or speed up by preheating oven, putting dough bowl in and turning oven off.)
Divide dough in half. Divide each half into thirds.
Roll the thirds into tubes that you can then braid together, tucking ends underneath.
Bake braided loaves on baking sheet at 400 for about 20 minutes or until golden on top.
Take out and let sit with cloth over them for 10 minutes before slicing. (If crust is hard, brush with melted butter.)
