3 c. raw cranberries
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. orange juice
1 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter or margarine
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the cranberries together with the 3/4 cup of sugar and the oj until the skins burst - about 7 minutes. Pour this mixture into a 2x9x9 pan. Sift the remaining dry ingredients together and then blend in the butter/marg until the mixture is crumbly. Beat the egg slightly and then stir it into the crumbly mix and spread it all over the cranberry mix. Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees, or until the top is slightly browned. Cut into squares and serve plain or with whipped cream.
