"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Easy Peanut Butter Cups, by Bonny Allen, is from Spring of Life Christian Church ,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
1 1/2 c graham cracker crumbs 1 c peanut butter 1/2 lb butter, softened 2 c chocolate chips 1 box powdered sugar
Mix first 4 ingredients together thoroughly. Press into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13" pan. Melt the chocolate chips over hot water. Spread on top of the mixture in the pan. Cool and cut into squares. These can be frozen. They are especially good at Christmas.
A whole bunch
My Mom used to make these only at Christmas and they went fast!
