1 Box yellow cake mix
1/2 Cup butter melted
1 Egg

Filling Ingredients
1 Cup pecans
1/2 Cup brown sugar
1 1/2 Cups dark corn syrup
1 tsp Vanilla
3 Eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Grease bottom and sides of a 9 x 13 backing pan. Reserve 2/3 cup of the dry cake mix for the filling. In a large mixing bowl combine dry cake mix, the melted butter and 1 egg. Mix until crumbly and then press in the bottom of the greased pan. Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes, until light golden brown.

Meanwhile, combine the filling ingredients, pour over cooked crust and sprinkle with the pecans. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until filling is set. Cool and then cut into bars.
