"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
3/4 stick margarine 3 T sugar 2 c crushed pretzels
8 oz cream cheese, softened 1 8 oz cool whip 1 c sugar
1 large Strawberry jello Fresh strawberries or 2 10 oz frozen strawberries, thawed
In 9 x 13 pan, melt margarine. Sprinkle sugar and mix. Add pretzels until well coated. Bake 8 min @ 400 degrees. Let cool. Mix next three ingredients. Pour on cooled pretzels. (Make sure cream cheese is sealed around the edges, so the jello does not get to the pretzel crust.) Follow jello directions. Let set partially. (Do not speed set) Place strawberries on cream cheese. Pour jello over strawberries. Chill until serviced.
