"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Salsa or picante sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Combine meat, onion, salt, pepper and cook over low heat until well browned. If you like spicy foods you may add approximately 3/4 cup salsa or picante sauce at this point and simmer until liquid is all gone.

For each turnover, place 2 biscuits just slightly overlapping on a well-floured surface. Roll until each biscuit is about 5" wide. Place about 1/3 of the meat mixture on one biscuit. Top with one slice of cheese which has been cut in half diagonally. Moisten edges of bottom biscuit with water and bring second biscuit down over it and seal with a fork. Cut three small slices on top of turnovers.

Bake at 425 for 8 -10 minutes or until golden brown.
