2 C. Flour 1 C. Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Baking Powder 1 C. White Sugar
1/2 tsp. Salt 2 T. Flour
2 T. Sugar Pinch of Salt
2/3 C. Butter 1 C. Hot Water
2/3 C. Milk Butter
6 tart Apples

Directions:
Directions:
Sift first four ingredients, cut in butter and add milk. Roll out dough, cut round pieces or squares. Cut apples in half. Fill centers with brown sugar. Use one apple for each dumpling. Sprinkle sugar over apples. Mix together granulated sugar, flour and salt. Add hot water and cook 5 min.
Pour around dumplings. When about half baked, add butter. Bake at 350 about 40 min. or until tender and golden brown.
