6 c. fresh or frozen blackberries, washed and drained.
2 c. water
1 1/2 cup sugar
dash salt


Crust:
1 c. sugar
1 c. self rising flour
1 c. milk
1 stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Bring the first 4 ingredients to a boil and simmer for 30 minute. Melt butter and put in bottom of 9 by 13 pan. Mix flour, sugar and milk together. Pour evenly over melted butter. Add prepared blackberries on top and cook at 350 until crust rises to the top and turns light brown. Sprinkle with tsp sugar and dash cinnamon mix. Serve with vanilla ice cream, very very good!!!
