2 C. Cake Flour 1 Egg + 1 Egg Yoke
1 tsp. Baking Powder 1 C. Mashed Bananas
1 tsp Soda 1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Salt 3/4 C. Sour Milk or Buttermilk
1 1/2 C. Sugar 1/2 C. Shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Measure sifted flour. Sift with baking powder, soda, and salt three times. Cream shortening, add sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Add bananas and beat again, then add flour to creamed mixture alternately with milk, small amounts at a time, beating after each addition until smooth. Add vanilla. Bake in a greased pan 8" x 8" x 2". Moderate oven 350, 25 minutes.
