2 lbs. frozen or fresh cranberries (8 cups) 2 cups water 1 cup packed brown sugar 1 cup golden raisins 2 oranges peeled and diced
Combine cranberries and water in heavy saucepan. Bring to boil, then cook over medium heat until berries pop (approx. 5 minutes). Add sugar, raisins and oranges. Continue to cookover medium heat about 15 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Chill
This is good alternative to just plain cranberries for a holiday meal
