3 cups flour
1 egg well beaten
1 tsp salt
5 Tbs cold water
1 cup vegetable shortening
1 Tbs cider vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour and salt. Cut in shortening. Beat egg in a separate bowl and add cold water and vinegar. Add liquid to dry ingredients. Makes 2 double crust or 4 single crust pies.
