1 (3oz) pkg cream cheese, softened

1 stick butter or margarine, softened

1 cup flour
1 egg
3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 Tbsp melted butter
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Crust: Combine cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add 1 cup flour. Form into small balls, using approximately 1 tablespoon dough for each. Place balls in greased small muffin pans. Flour thumb - press and shape into pan.
Pecan Filling: Break egg into brown sugar. Beat together. Add melted butter, pinch of salt, vanilla, and chopped nuts. Fill pastry shells. Makes 24. Bake at 325 for about 30 minutes.
