1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
4 cups chopped unpeeled apples
1 cup nut meats

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, sifted flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Stir until well blended. Add apples and nut meats. Combine well. Spread in 9" X 13" pan. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes. Then 325 for 45 minutes. Test with toothpick to make sure apples are done. Can be topped with butter sauce or glaze.
