1/2 lb butter or margarine
2 c sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 c sifted flour
1 c buttermilk
1/4 tsp soda
1/2 c chopped nuts (optionl)
1 (9 oz) Hershey bar, melted with 2 T water

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, beating well after each. Add vanilla, salt and chocolate. Mix well. Add soda to buttermilk and then add alternately with flour. Bake in greased and floured tube or Bundt pan at 325 for 60 to 75 minutes. Check for doneness with toothpick.
