1/4 c. sugar
12 oz crushed vanilla wafers
1 stick butter (not margarine)
1 tsp cinnamon


4 eggs
1 c. sugar
pinch salt
1 tsp lemon juice (fresh or concentrate)
24 oz cream cheese, at room temperature.
1 pint sour cream plus 2 Tbsp sugar, 1 tsp vanilla and reserved crumbs.

Crust: Mix all, reserving 1/2 c wafers. Press in bottom and a bit up the sides of a springform cake pan. Chill the crust.

Filling: Beat eggs and sugar until creamy. Add lemon juice, then softened cream cheese. Beat well. Pour into chilled crust. Bake at 325 for approx 35 min, or until middle will 'tremble' when shaken gently. Remove. Add sour cream topping. Return to oven for additional 10 minutes.
