Crust:

1 3/4 c flour
c sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
tsp salt
c & 2 T. butter
water


Filling:

8 tart apples (6 Granny Smith)
1 2/3 c sour cream
1 c sugar
1/3 c flour
1 egg
2 Tbsp Vanilla
Tbsp salt
c water


Topping:

c cold butter
1 tsp cinnamon
c flour
c walnuts
1/3 c light brown sugar

Directions:
Spices apples. Mix all ingredients for the crust and pat into lightly oiled pie plate Mix all ingredients for the filling and spoon into crust. Bake 450 degrees 10 minutes 350 degrees for 40 minutes Mix topping and spread on pie and bake 15 additional minutes. Best served chilled.
