1 lb. or 2 1/2 cups of fresh cooking apples
3 lg. onions
1/2 lb. thinly slice bacon
3 cans kidney beans
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper

Peel and core apples and slice into quarters. Peel and slice onions. Cook bacon until crispy. Mix all ingreidents and pour in a baking dish and bake in a 350 oven for 1 1/2 hours..
