1 pkg. fresh sausage (cooked, crumbled and drained)
4 c. cubed day-old bread
2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
10 eggs, slightly beaten
4 c. milk
1 t. dry mustard
1/4 t. onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Sliced mushrooms and chopped tomatoes(op.)

Directions:
Directions:
Place bread in greased 9by13 baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese.Combine next 4 ingredients. Pour evenly over bread and cheese. Sprinkle cooked sausage and optional ingredients over top. Cover and chill overnight. Preheat oven to 325. Bake uncovered for about 1 hr.. Tent with foil if top begins to brown too quickly.
