4 c buttermilk
2 eggs
1/4 tsp soda
7 c all-purpose flour
2 c raisins
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c caraway seed
2 Tbsp plus 2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine buttermilk, eggs, and soda in a large bowl. Beat well and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients, stir into buttermilk mixture. Spoon batter into greased and floured 9" loaf pans. Bake at 375 for 1 hour and 15 min. Let cool in pans for 15 min. Turn out on a rack. Serve warm.
