Peanut Butter Bars Recipe

3/4 c. softened butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. peanut butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 t. baking soda
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. oats

Chocolate Frosting:
1/3 c. margarine or butter, softened
1/3 c. cocoa
2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 t. milk

Blend first five ingredients together. Add remaining
ingredients and blend. Pour into ungreased cookie
sheet (jelly roll pan-sized). Bake 15-20 minutes on
350. While warm, spread top with more peanut butter.
Let cool entirely. Frost with chocolate frosting.
