2 cups plain flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups of wession oil
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 tespoon baking soda (add to buttermilk)
1 teaspoon vinager (last)
2 tablespoons red food color (last)

Preheat oven to 325.
Mix all ingredients well and bake 30 - 35 minutes. Makes 3 layers.

8 oz. cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 box confectionate sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans cut up fine
