While your pumpkin pie is baking, Unwrap 1 - 3 oz. pkg. of cream cheese and place it on a microwave-safe plate.icrowave the cream cheese on high power until it is soft, 10 seconds. Fold in 2 tbsp. of light brown sugar and 1/2 tsp. of ground cinnamon.

About 20 minutes before the pie is done, remove it form the oven and dollup the cream cheese mixture on top. Using a fork, gently swirl the cream cheese into the pie. Return the pie to the oven and bake it until done.
