3 c sugar
3/4 c karo syrup
1 pkg raspberry or strawberry jello
3/4 c water
2 egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, karo syrup and water until it forms a hard ball in cold water. Beat egg whites, add raw jello and beat until it forms stiff peaks. Pour first ingredients into egg whites and beat until it loses its gloss. Work fast, since the candy gets hard. Drop by spoon on wax paper. Nuts may be added, if desired.
