4 large eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter, melted and cooled
2 tsp. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 T. orange zest, if desired
1/4 lb. semi-sweet chocolate, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 24 madeline molds. Combine eggs, sugar and vanilla. Cream until pale and fluffy, about 10 minutes. Combine flour and baking powder. Add zest and half of the flour mixture and beat, add remaining and beat in again. Add the butter in a steady stream until well blended. Let stand 10 minutes. Spoon batter into the molds, about 2/3 full. Bake until golden, 18-20 minutes. If desire, dip half of cookie in melted chocolate.
