1/4 c. Butter 1 Egg
1//4 c Margarine 2 c. Oatmeal
1/4 c. Shortening(Crisco)
1 c. Brown sugar
1/2 c. Sugar
1/4 c. Flour
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp Soda
1/2 tsp Baking Powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 F. Cream butter and sugar.Add mixed egg. Make well in the middle. Sift flour,salt,soda and baking powder together and put into well.Add oatmeal.
Drop dough on to Teflon cookie sheet. Reduce oven temp to 350 F. Bake 8 minutes until golden brown. Take out of the oven and cool for 1/2 minute.
Store in an airtight container with waxed paper in between.
