1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
6 eggs
2 c. flour
1 box raisins
1 box currants
1/2 box citron and orange peel
1 lb. nuts
1/2 lb. chopped figs
1/4 c. wine
1 T. juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. all spice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

There were no instructions; in fact, there was no title.

I am sure this was her fruit cake. She would make it several weeks before Christmas each year and keep it wrapped in soaked cloth in a container in the cabinet.
