1 med. head cabbage, chopped or shredded
1 tsp. salt
3 stalks celery, chopped
1/2 green pepper, diced
1 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 tsp each celery seed and mustard seed

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle salt over cabbage and let stand 1 hour. Squeeze out liquid, mix cabbage, celery and pepper, mix remaining ingredients together and bring to a boil. Pour over cabbage mixture and freeze. This cole slaw is crisp and fresh when thawed.

I had extra cabbage so I made this with 3 heads. I added 3 carrots and used only 2 1/2 times the dressing. I drained the cabbage before freezing it. It seemed like there was a *lot* of dressing wasted. Next time I'll try just 1/2 the dressing.
